When it became apparent at the age of eighteen months that our son Skip had coeliac disease, I started taking an interest in appetizing and healthy gluten-free food. My training as a natural food adviser was a great help. After my course, I started studying the concept of gluten-free catering and education, and creating a safe place where people wouldn’t have to worry about what they ate. The Glutenvrije Winkel is now a shop with a large assortment of gluten-free products, but also an advice bureau and a place to eat.
